New Summer Sunglasses

Here's Cari's kids with their new sunglasses. Mallory wouldn't keep hers on and she didn't want to stay in the picture, but we caught her! This is their goofy pose. Grandma and Taryn and Madeleine were babysitters for a few days while their Mom and Dad went to Oregon for a marathon. Grandma had a lot of fun!

Life in Limbo

We're living in separate states and working toward the goal of moving back to Utah. Rob's staying with his mother and looking for work while I continue to work in Nevada. Because Bank of America is buying Countrywide, my job may be disappearing. No one knows for sure but Bank of America has announced that they will be laying off about 7500 people.

I have mixed feelings about moving to Utah because of our two cute little families in Nevada and the many friends in our ward and stake. I'll also miss our home. I've never lived in one home this long before. Somebody needs to build a super speed train between Nevada and Salt Lake!! (A cheap one that's not dangerous!)

I have missed our extended families, though, and our four cute families in Utah. I've also missed Utah itself - the seasons, grass, trees, snow, mountains.

Right now I'm very excited to be going to the Cabin!! It's so much fun (even the year we all got sick) and it's a great way to spend time with the fam. Where else could we go that would be so peaceful and beautiful?

Grandpa is staying at Pineview Reservoir with Sandy and Great Grandma Brown this weekend. He's done a lot of stuff while he's been in Utah. Kevin's taken him fishing and walking (he bought him a pedometer so he can keep track of how far he walks). He's trying to be more and more active so that his sugar levels will get to where they need to be.
